Because I grew up in Winchester, I have also spent 10 years learning Chinese at the Winchester School of Chinese Culture (WSCC). Other volunteering work I have done includes over 100 hours of hospital work, 45 hours of farming work, and assisting Winchester Chinese School teachers in their lessons.

Hi, my name is Alanna! I'm currently a Junior at Winchester High School, and two of my biggest passions are baking and working with children. These activities truly bring me joy and represent the kind of person I aspire to be. I not only teach children but also assist senior citizens in learning English. Many of these seniors face daily language barriers, and I help them improve their English skills to navigate day to day activities. I’m aiming to pursue a career where I can make a real difference in people’s lives, whether that’s in the medical field or by working directly with children.
