Aerin Chen

Fundraising Officer

Hello! My name is Aerin Chen, and I work on fundraising and communications for Heritage Bridges. I’m currently a senior at Highland High School in Illinois. Growing up, I’ve seen how hard it can be to strike the perfect balance between bridging cultural divides and staying in touch with your background. At Heritage Bridges, I’m looking forward to working on that. In my free time, I work at my family’s Chinese restaurant, and I love politics and reading!

I have two younger siblings and have a deep appreciation for learning about other cultures and hearing people's unique stories. In my free time, I love to knit, crochet, and explore my passion for photography—capturing moments. I'm also an active member of my school's cultural clubs, where I get to share and celebrate different traditions.
