The Pen Pal Program for Elderly Immigrants is dedicated to creating new connections through global exchange. We connect immigrant elders with individuals worldwide. Through handwritten letters and virtual exchanges, we hope to share stories, hobbies, and lived experiences. We provide elderly immigrants with a step-by-step process to help them draft their letters. We offer translation resources and guidance in expressing their thoughts, stories, and life-experiences.

This pen-pal program is made possible with our partner, Distant Hugs. Distanthugs.org is a student-led volunteer organization with the initiative to collect and deliver homemade cards to seniors in assisted living facilities.
